Description: Located in the International Maritime Museum , which is in Kaispeicher B, the oldest preserved warehouse in Hamburg.. Over 10 floors, the first floor is devoted to explorers, navigation and communications. Here is the bust of James Cook together with information on his voyages.
History: The Museum opened on 25th June, 2008, in a building built in 1878. It is run by the Tamm Foundation, and is based on the collection of Peter Tamm, which was started in 1934.
