Gravestone in the churchyard and near the porch, of St Cecilia’s Church, Little Hadham
History:
William Harvey was a midshipman on Captain Cook’s first voyage on Endeavour, and served on Resolution on Cook’s second and third voyages.
According to the burial records William Harvey was laid to rest on 19th July 1807.
Harvey had lived at “Halfway House” in the village.
