To commemorate the 275th anniversary of Captain Cook’s birth the Government of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands has approved the release of a coin in three versions.

1. 5oz Fine Silver  £10
2. Sterling Silver     £2
3. Cupro Nickel      £2

The obverse of each depicts the Resolution and Cook (Dance portrait).
