The funeral of Alwyn Peel, who served for 30 years as Secretary of the Captain Cook Society
will take place on Thursday, 9 January, 2025.

In person
The cremation and Celebration of Life of Alwyn Peel will be held at
Wakefield Crematorium, Standbridge Lane, Wakefield, WF4 3JA 
on Thursday 9th January 2025 at 12.40pm.

At the crematorium we will assemble at 12.30 and enter the building before Alwyn. 
Please feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Alwyn wanted no sombre tones! 

This will be followed by a gathering from 2pm onwards at
Holmfield Arms, Denby Dale Rd, Wakefield WF2 8DY

As there is limited capacity at the crematorium,
