Sue Mason produced a stylistic floral design featuring one of the Banksia plants named after Sir Joseph.; From the thirty-four volumes of Banks's Florilegium she chose Banksia Dentata, which was drawn by Sydney Parkinson, from the specimens collected by Banks at Endeavour River, Australia in June 1770.
She wanted the feeling of leaves flying up to Heaven, and feels the leaves flowing up the page also resemble the wake made by a large ship, the leaves become waves and curl over at the top, and are pale on the underside, like the waves of the sea.
