William Briscoe joined Resolution for Cook’s Second Voyage on 30 January, 1772, at Deptford. He was an able bodied seaman (AB).
Briscoe was born in Scarborough about 1751. He acted as the ship’s tailor. He was punished on 16 February, 1773, with 12 lashes for theft.
