Michelle Crowther recently saw my article about George Morey on our website.1  She commented: Are you aware that George and Betsy Morey had a son George John Morey, b. 1816. (See UK National Archives for details of his attendance at Greenwich Hospital School in 1828.)  I believe he ended up in Gundaroo, and this may be why Edmund moved there at the age of 17. 

This information was new to me, and shows the value of having so many of the articles published in Cook’s Log also available on the CCS website.  I have tried looking for more information about George John, but with little success.
