Fulke Lowe, sailed on the Discovery as an able seaman. He came from Newton Toney in Wiltshire. Wilbury Park is a country estate outside Newton Toney and was the family home for the Greville family.
Most of the male members of the Grevilles were called Fulke so I think it is reasonable to explain Lowe’s somewhat rare first name by the family being workers on the Wilbury estate.
